Why door holder? Because Volunteer sounds boring, draining, tiring and old school. And because we believe in giving back to your community with a sense of passion that effervesces from within, pouring out into our church house, in life giving life sustaining ways.
We borrow the term “door holder” from a mentor, Passion City Church. Together we believe in building a house from the ground up, utilizing every member of our house to build it, fill it and sustain it. That’s why we want you to come to us and offer your passion, your care and your love. We will not ask you to do something that is not already on your heart to do or give. It’s that simple. Bring us your purpose, your passion, your zest and vitality and help build, fill and grow our house.

Our Children's Ministry exists to bring children together to know Jesus, serve others, and develop disciples. We want to support, equip and encourage parents and children to succeed.
Our team is committed to providing a fun and interactive environment tailored for children that guides them to know Jesus better, grow spiritually, and build meaningful relationships with other children and adults.

Our Creative Team aims to demonstrate who Jesus is and what He has done in people’s lives through song, video, and expression. We aim to show Jesus’ love and inspire life change through various creative outlets. Our team includes creative thinkers and artists who have a passion for music, art, video, photography, design, writing, marketing, and production.

Our Hospitality Team creates a welcoming environment for our visitors and regular attenders. We provide support for a variety of events that take place at Gather and Scatter, including potluck.

Our security and medical team is committed to providing a safe and distraction-free environment for all who enter our doors. The security team secures our Children's and Teen's ministry areas while the medical team is ready to respond to medical situations. Both the security and medical teams are on-hand for any situation that may arise. We welcome any one who has a heart to protect our children and families to sign up for our security team.

We believe that in order to know God we must first talk to and about Him. Teen ministry at Gather and Scatter is an open and safe space where teenagers can question openly without fear of criticism. In the Teen's Ministry we will try to provide the students with different perspectives of life rather than just one person’s view. It will be a place where we are not just “mere reflectors of other men’s thoughts” but are also able to come to terms about how God’s reaches us as individuals.
